(b) If the reply be in the affirmative will the Government state the reasons for the non-payment of the travelling allowance in question? [...] The Hon'ble the Minister of Education : (a) Yes so far as it relates to the travelling allowance of the teachers of K. G. K. High school (b) The teachers of the K. G. K. High School Hardoi have refused to draw their travelling allowance at the rate authorized by the Deputy Comn Lissioner Hardoi. [...] Parliamentary Secretary to the Hon'ble the Minister of Education : According to the instructions issued the teachers of the K. G. Kshatriya High School were entitled to travelling allowances according to the rates prescribed for non-officials while the employees of the Government High School were entitled to scales given to Government servants according to the scales of their pay. [...] Shri Sunder Lal Gupta : Is the Government aware that the Chairman of the Municipal Board issued an order to Sundar Lal Gupta the President of the District Congress Committee Sultanpur not to convene meeting in the premises of the Victoria Manzil ground where the National flag was pitched? [...] In view of these irregularities and the fact that in his opinion the case against the clerk was doubtful the new Chairman requested the District Magistrate to drop the prosecution and re-instated the clerk pending the result of a departmental inquiry.
