Pandit Ramsewak Pande : Will the Government be please' to state regarding the Bahraicli Government High School— (a) the estimate of the cost of the building (b) the amount that it did actually cost (c) the name of the contractor who built it (d) the name of the Supervisor Engineer and the fees paid to him for this supervision ? Kunwar Jagdish Prasad : (a) Estimate: Rs. [...] 337 appointment of a committee to consider the question of the affiliation of Roorkee College to the University I have obtained Ilis Excellency's sanction to include in the terms of reference to that committee also the question of the affiliation of the Agricultural College to the University. [...] '1 here will be the Director of Agriculture the Director of Publie Instruction the Principal of the College two members elected by the non-oll!cial members of the Legislative Council one nominee of the Government one representative of the Upper India and one of the United Provinces Chamber of Commerce and one represenative each of the three Zamiudars' Associations in the province the Brit [...] So that directly in the administration of the College too public opinion—the opinion of the landlords of the Chambers of Commerce and of the general public as reflected by the elected members of this Council— will be represented in the College Council. [...] In respect of gardens a comparison of the estimates of this year with those of the preceding year will show that such increase of expenditure as is shown under some gardens is due mainly to the revision of the salaries of the establishments ; in common with the revision of she salaries of other establishments ; secondly in the introduction of new experiments.
