Upon the completion of the counting of votes the Returning Officer shall prepare and certify a return setting fort(i) the number of valid votes given for each candidate; (ii) the number of votes declared invalid and rejected ; (iii) the names of the persons declared elected; and submit the return to the Government of Bengal in the Political Department.
