dated the 5th January 1931 and in exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (a) and (b) of sub-rule (2) of rule 11 of the Bengal Electoral Rules and in pursuance of sub-rule (3) of that rule the Governor in Council is pleased to prescribe for the Dacca and Chittagong (European) Constituency of the Bengal Legislative Coucil the 15th January 1931 as the date for the nomination of candidates [...] 10271J.-23rd Deceber 1930.—In exercise of the powers coferred by sections 14 and 15 and the proviso to section 357 of the Code of Criminal Prcedure 1898 (Act V of 1898) the Governor in Council is pleased-- (a) to confer upon each of the gentlemen named below the powers of a Magistrate of the third class in the district of Murshidbad for a period of three years from the date of this [...] — 22nd December 1930.—In exercise of the power conferred by section 22 of the Bengal Local Self-Government Act 1885 (Bengal Act III of 1885) the Goverment of Bengal (Ministry of Local Self-Goernment) are pleased to appoint the District Magistrate of Mymensingh to be the Chaiman of the District Board of Mymensingh vice Lt. [...] In exercise of the powers conferred by susection (4) of section 241 of the Bengal Muncipal Act 1884 (Bengal Act III of 1884) and at the request of the Commissioners of the Dum Bum Municipality in the district of the 24-Parganas made at a meeting the Goverment of Bengal (Ministry of Local SelGovernment) are pleased to extend section 241 of the said Act to the said municipality. [...] has been appointed by the Corportion of Calcutta with effect from the 18th November 1930 to be an Assessor of the Tribunal constituted under the said section for the purpose of performing the functions of the Court in reference to the acquisition a land for the Board of Trustees for the Improvment of Calcutta under the Land Acquisition Act 1894.
