D.-7th February 1949.—In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 92 of the Government of India Act 1935 the Governor is pleased to direct that the Influx from Pakistan (Control) Ordinance 1948 (Ordinance XXXIV of 1948) shall apply to the Darjeeling district on and from the date of publication of this notification in the Calcutta Gazette. [...] On receipt of the reference the Arbitrator shall inform the person or persons to be compesated as also the Collector of the place and time of meeting and such other particulars relating to -the appearance of the parties to the reference and their witnesses and lawyers as may be deemed necessary by the 'Arbitrator. [...] The fee for the inspection by the public of the register of houses rooms and places in respect of which an order has been made under section 6 of the Bengal Suppression of I in moral Traffic Act 1933 (Bengal Act V1 of 1933) maintained by the Superintendent of Police Midnapore under susection (7) of the said section shall be Rs. [...] After the publication of the names of the members of the General Council and State Faculty of Ayurvedic Medicine West Bengal elected appointed and nominated under clauses (b) to (e) of section 2 of the Statutes of the Council a meeting of these members shall be held for the co-option' of two members under clause (f) of that section. [...] 2. The meeting shall be held at the office of the Ayurvedic Council on a date fixed by the Presdent or in his abSence the Vice-President of the Council which shall be within three weeks from the date of publication of the names of members elected appointed or nominated under clauses (b) to (e) of section 2 of the Statutes of the Council.
