477.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Foreigners Ordinance 1914 (III of 1914) read witIrthe Emergency Legislation (Continuance) Act 1915 (1 of 1915) the Governor-General in Council is pleased to direct that the orders regulating and restricting the entry of foreigners into British India and their departure therefrom issued with the notifcation of the Government of Ind [...] 799.--The Governor-General in Council is pleased to sanction the grant of the following rewards for acts of gallantry or devotion to duty in the field while serving with the Waziristan Force :— Awarded the Indian Order of Merit 2nd Class. [...] Havildar Tirmal Singh at once charged at the head of his picquet and bayonetted two of the enemy before he was surrounded and killed. [...] 567 a view to recovering the gun and team and come into close contact with a number of the enemy who had overcome the gin team and had seized the gun. [...] Though wounded in the left hand he brained the captor of the gun with a stone recovered the gun and withdrew his men in good order.
