In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Indian Red Cross Society Act 1920 the Managing Body of the Indian Red Cross Society has on the 20th September 1920 made the following rules for the management control and procedure of the Society: CHAPTER I.—MEMBERSHIP. [...] Fourteen days' clear notice of any meeting of the Managing Body specifying the place day and hour of the meeting and the general nature of the business to be transacted shall be given to every member of the Managing Body by notice sent by post provided that the accidental omission to give such notice to anv of the members shall not invalidate any resolution passed at such meeting. [...] The Managing Body shall have the power to make standing orders regulating its own procedure the procedure of Committees appointed by it and the duties of the officers of the Society. [...] (2) The Finance Committee after considering the report of the Auditor shall scrutinize annually the accounts of the Society and shall in consultation with ti'e Treasurer prepare the Annual Budget which will be submitted by it through the Executive Committee to the Managing Body for consideration. [...] 1924 dated the 24th September 1920 the Governor General in Council is pleased to prescribe the officers mentioned in the first column of the subjoined table as the officers who are to exercise as regards persons subject to the said Act serving under their orders; the powers under the said Act and rules made thereunder specified in the second column.
