Soo-F.—In accordance with the recommendation of the Legislative Assembly the Governor-General in Counckl has decided to appoint a Committee consisting of Members of the Indian LegisLiture to con-ider the following matters arising from the Report of the Railway ( ommittee namelji) the separation of railway from pen ral finance: (2) the requirements of railways in regard to capital expenditure [...] 95P. W.—In t exercise of the powers conferred by the Indian Post Office Act 1898 (VI of 1898) the Governor-General in Council is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the rules published with the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Commerce and Industry No. [...] 885 (b) the remitter may obtain an advice of payment on paying the fee charged for such advice in the case of an ordinary money order ; (c; it the remitter desires that the rekitiest for the advice should be communicated to the post office of payment by telegraph a further charge at the rate for the time heing in force for an ordinary or deferred telegr m as the case may be shall be made for th [...] " 3. In rule 138 of the said rules for the words "Ceylon the Sevchellts and the United Kingdom " the words ' Ceylon the Seychelles the United Kingdom and Iraq " shall be substituted. [...] Any one desiring a copy posted to an address in British India should send to the Patent Office the sum of annas eight by money-order on which the number of the application shouldbe stated on the coupon at the foot of the order.
