F. 56-I/53-Cons.—Under Rule 43 of the Constituent Assembly Rules the President of the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan has been pleased to order the publication in the Gazette of Pakistan of the following Bill together with the Statement of Objects and Reasons relating thereto and the Bill and the Statement of Objects and Reasons are accordingly published :- C. A. P. BILL No. [...] MARCH 21 1953 (c) in the Fourth Schedule the following new Form shall be added at the end namely :— ig 3. Form of Governor's oath or affirmation :- I A. B. do solemnly swear (or affirm) that in the office of Governor of the Province of I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to the Constitution of Pakistan as by law established and that I will do right to all manner of people after the [...] ". Amendment 3. In the India (Central Government and Legislature) Act of the India 1 946 — (Central Government (a) in section 2 to clause (a) of sub-section (1) of that and Legislsection the following shall be added at the end ture) Act 1946. [...] To achieve this purpose it his become necessary to amend the India (Central Government and Legialature) Act 1946 and the Federal Legilative List of the Constitution Act in the manner provided in sub-clause (d) of clause 2 and sub-clause (b) of clause 3 of the Bill. [...] At the same time it is considered necessary to enlarge the scope of the provision in section 2 (1) (a) of the Act so as to bring within its purview such other commodities as the Goverment consider to be essential by conferring on the Governor-General the power to do so by making an order for the purpose.
