XLII of 1944) read with section 21 of the General Clauses Act 1897 (X of 1897) the Central Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Pakistan Post Office Savings Certificates Rules namely :— Amendments In rule 18 - (i) in clause (a) for the words figures letters and brackets “ Fifteen thousand rupees (Rs. [...] 15 000) ” the words figures letters and brackets “ Twentyfive thousand rupees (Rs. [...] 25 000) ” shall be substituted and (ii) in clause (b) for the words figures letters and brackets “ Thirty thousand rupees (Rs. [...] 30 000) ” the words figures letters and brackets — Fifty thousand rupees (Rs. [...] 50 000) ” and for the letters and figures “ Rs.
