Now THEREFORE in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act 1947 (XIV of 1947) read with sub-section (1) of section 7 of that Act the Central Goverment is pleased to refer the dispute to an Industrial Tribunal consisting of Mr. [...] B. Advocate of Karachi formerly a Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad for adjudication of the said dispute. [...] 3. Under sub-section (3) of section 10 of the aforesaid Act the Cetral Government is pleased to prohibit the continuance of the strike or lock-out in connection with the dispute aforesaid which is in existence on the date of this notification. [...] The Provincial Government in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 279A (2) (e) of the City of Karachi Municipal Act is pleased to ;authorise the action of the Municipal Commissioner in cancelling the polling on the 24th of April 1953 in the said Wards and in fixing the 29th of April 1953 as the date for the polling in the said Wards. [...] PY-16147 dated 30th October 1948 and with the prior concurrence of the Government of Pakistan the Chief Commissioner Karachi is pleased to add the following Sub-proviso to Proviso (3) of clause 3 of the Meals in Establishments Control Order 1953 :- (iii) Light refreshment (Cakes bread and butter pasteries patties etc.) may be served in tea houses viz.
