915L.—23rd March 1932.—In pursance of the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 81 of the Government of India Act the following Act of the local legislature of Begal having been assented to by the Governor General on the 23rd March 1932 is hereby published for general information. [...] WilEttEns it is expedient to amend the Bengal Crminal Law Amendment Act 1930 in the manner herinafter appearing; Aso WHEREAS the previous sanction of the Governor General has been obtained under sub section (:3) of setion 80A of the Government of I mlia Act to the passing of this Act; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. This Act Ditty be called the Bengal Criminal Law Amendment Act 19 [...] Amendment of section 2. Amendment of section 4. 2. In sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Bengal Criminal Law Amendment Act 1930 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) for the words beginning with Where in the opinion of the Local Government" and ending with the words "may by order in writing " the following shall be substituted namely :- "Where in the opinion of the Local Government there [...] The Local Government shall make to every person who is placed under restraint by reason of an order made under sub-section (1) of section 2 such monthly allowance in cash or in kind or both for his support as is in the opinion of the Local Goverment having regard to his other sources of income adequate for the supply of his wants and shall also make to his family if any and to such of [...] el and anything done and any action taken under the provisions of the Bengal Criminal Law AmenOrdinanoe ment Ordinance 1931 shall be deemed to have IX of 1931 been done or taken under the provisions of this Act as amended by the Bengal Criminal Law Amendment Act 1932 as if this last Act had commenced on the twentninth day of October 1931."
