The Company on the other hand maintained that the claim of the Union on tfie heads of gratuity and leave was unreasonable and that the final terms of settlement as suggested by the Labour Directorate on these questions. [...] The dispute as to the leave rules and gratuity is the only outstanding dispute between the parties at the present moment and the Tribunal is competent to adjudicate thereon when it is referred to it by the appropriate Government under section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act.
