It is alleged by the Union that the Engineering Works abovenamed manufactures various articles by moulding brass and that the present rate of the wages of the workers is much below the living wages. [...] I would like to iwroduce the pay on the basis of the award given by the Major Engineering T Pitiimol and direct that the Management should classify the workers into unskilled semi-skilled and skilled categories. [...] The Management is also directed to frame staning orderS on the model of rules framed by the Engineering Association or the rules framed by the Engineering Tribunal under issue No. [...] shall he clearly stated in the letter that the names of all those persons whose replies are not received within the date appointed by the Returning Officer and whose replies although received within such date do not fulfil the requirments shall he omitted from the list 597"598 THE CALCUTTA GAZETTE EXTRY. [...] (3) In sub-rule ( 1) of rule 1:1 of the said rules fot the words "in the register of registered practitioners" substitute the words and figures "in the final electoral roll prepared under mile 10".
