The main duty of the Bus Association and the Bus Syndicate is :- (1) to control and superviSe the bus traffic and thereby prevent copetition among the bus-owners and (2) to cordinate the activities of bus-owners in administrative matters. [...] At the end of the written statement filed by the Kadamtala Bus Assciation as also the individual bus-owners an account has been given of the average daily collection per bus and the daily.recurring expenditure and the annual recurring expenditure which has again got to be distributed per day and added to the expenditure incurred daily. [...] In this aspect of the case if the number of trips are increased or if the number of buses employed daily is increased the total income will remain the same and will only be ditributed over the total number of trips and among the total number of buses employed. [...] However that is the look out of the District Magistrate and of the Transport Department of the Government of West Bengal.
