Government) are pleased to approve the resolution passed by the Commissioners of the Halishahar Municipality in the district of 24-Parganas under section 23 of that Act electing Mr. [...] 1. The portion of the municipality which it is proposed to light with electricity is defined below :- North—The present southern boundary of the Corporation of Calcutta forming the southern boundary of the property of the Port Commissioners and Tollygunj CircularRoad of the Corporation of Calcutta. [...] section 5 of the Bengal Village Self-Government Act 1919 (Bengal Act V of 1919) and after consideration of the views of the Jessore District Board and the Narail Local Board the Government of Bengal (Ministry of Local Self-Government) are pleased to direct that each of the following local areas in thana Naraganti in the Narail subdivision in the district of Jessore shall be declared a union f [...] 3. In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (3) of section 6 of the said Act the Government of Bengal (Ministry of Local Self-Government) are pleased to direct that one-third of the members of each union board shall be appointed by the District Magistrate on the grounds that the electors are inexperienced and that such appointment is necessary for the due representation of minorities.
