The following revised rules are prescribed for the conferring of the oriental academic title of “Shastri” upon the students of the Sanskrit College and other Colleges doing research work at the Sanskrit College Calcutta in supersession of the Director of Public Istruction’s notification dated the 10th Febrary 1927 on the same subject:- 1. Celt ificat es conferri ng the title of $hastri a [...] 2. Certificates conferring the tithi of Shastri and bearing the joint signature o the Director of Public Instruction Bengal and of the Principal Sansk College Calcutta. [...] (3) Students of the Sanskrit College who are eligible for the Shastri Title under the above conditions must be assciated with the research department of the Sanskrit.
