BILL No. [...] A Bill to change the name of the Imperial Library WHEREAS it is e xpedient to change the name of the Imperial Library ; It is hereby enacted as follows :- 1. Short title.—This Act may be called the Imperial Library (Change of Name) Act 1948. [...] Library shall be known as “ the India Library” and any reference to the Imp Library in any law for the time being in force or in any indenture instrument or other document shall be construed as a reference to the India Library.
