29 L P. dated 7th January last the Government of India are pleased.speeially to invest the Chief Commissioner of Mysore for the time being with the power of granting licenses for the export of sulphur from British India into Mysore. [...] 41.—It is hereby notified for public information that all the rights of the present jodidars in the undermentioned jodi village which has been duly attached in satisfaction of the arrears of revenue due to Government by the said jodidars will be sold by public auction at the Deputy Commissioner's Office at Chitaldroog on Thursday the 2nd September 1880 before the Deputy Commisioner or in [...] 2. Purchaser will be required to deposit 25 per cent of the purchase money at the time of sale and where the remainder of the purchase money may not be paid within 15 days from the day of sale the money so deposited shall be liable to forfeiture. [...] 7. Purchasers having completed the payment of the purchase money will as soon as the sale has been confirmed by the Chief Commissioner be placed in immediate possession and the village will be registered in the name of the purchaser and a certificate of sale signed and sealed by the Deputy Commissioner will be granted to him. [...] 126-/–J—With effect from the 1st April 1880 His Excellency the Viceroy and Governor G: neral in Council sanctions the addition to paragraph 65 of the Municipal Regulations in force in Ban g:dore :—After the words buildings set apart for the personal occupation of His Highness the Mafia Raja of Mysore " of the words "and the Ban galore Uovermrent Museum."
