The Deputy Accountant Gmeral has the honor to request that in the preparation of bills on account of daily batta to establishments the pay and acting allowance actually drawn by the employes may be entered and the batta computed thereon and not on the substantive pay of the post acted in as arpears to have been done in some offices. [...] 3. The accepted bidder shall enter on his contract on the 21st'April 18S0 and shall pay his first monthly khist or instalment on or before the 15th May 1880 and subsequently monthly instaments on or before the 15th of each successive month such monthly payments being made without reference to the amount deposited which will he taken in payment of the last six instalments of the expiration of [...] 5. Should there be failure or delay in the payment of the said instalments for two consecutive months the contract will be liable to be cancelled summarily and will be resold at the risk of the defaulting purchaser irrespective of the deposit amount which will be forfeited to Government. [...] The rules respecting the use of Post-cards not appearing to be generally known or attended to it is hereby notified for the intbrmation of the public that the writing of any word or note or anything not constituting a part. [...] of the address on the address side of a Post-card is an infringement of the condtions under which the card is permitted to pass free through the post.
