In examining the list of members of the Judicial Committee we find the names of the Earl of Rosebery the Duke of Devoshire the Duke of Richmond and Gordon the Marquis of Ripon Earl Spencer and Lord Carlingford. [...] It frequently happens that the board sets aside the decisions on questions of fact of judges who have spent the best part of their lives in the country are familiar with the languages and the customs of its people and what is perhaps as impotant are acquainted with the many changes which recent years have introduced: into the habits and ideas of the educated portion of the inhabitants of Ind [...] The second article regarding the order of the coif the word "cranks " was taken exception to but there were others besides the Plaintiffs who were advocates for the restoration of that ancient order ; both this and the next article were left by the Chief Justice for the verdict of the jury. [...] The warrant in this case was neither produced in the lower Court nor was secondary evidence given after proper steps taken to produce the original had failed to show its contents ' but a different warrant wquf on the record which had been issued on the failure of the first warrant and there was nothing to show that the contents of the two warrants were the same or what the contents of the firs [...] 52 of the Transfer of Property Act (IV of 1882) inasmuch as the transfer undoubtedly took place after the institution of the suit and both parties to the transfer had notice of the suit.
