With the increasexl control which the House of Commons acquired over the business of government came the necessity that the King's Ministers should be able to work in harmony with the majority of the House. [...] Hence the business of government came to be centred in a smaller group of persons made up of the chiefs of the various departments of Government consisting of persons of the same way of thinking in politics and that way in accordance with the opinion for the time of the majority in the House. [...] A considerable portion of the argument in the case centred on the zvajiututz of village Kardiha Manipur paragraph 4 of which is in Me following terms :- The usage of transfer of heritage in the family of the proprietors of this village is based on the share of wives. [...] In this case there is no finding in the judgment of the trying Magitrate that the jungle is in the possession of the Maharaja although he finds that the Petitioners are not in possession of the property. [...] The subject-matter of the litigation was the estate of one Haradhan Singh who died on the 8th January 1896 leaving two first cousins Ramna.th the father of the Plaintiffs and Jadunath the father of the Defendants.
