For English law—even the English law of real property—has with more or less justfication been before now and may still be intrduced in this country under the " rule of justice equity and good conscience." Returning to the immediate subject of this rview the object of the work seems to be to set forth in a connected form the main ideas of the English law of real property and in lan [...] 13 of the Licensing Act of 1872 with the result that the license of the premises was endorsed and the renewal of it susequently refused by the Licensing Magistrates. [...] The act of the sub-tenant was not the act of the lessee. [...] 1. It also gave the Plaintiffs interest front the date of the receipt by the Defendant of the money. [...] II of the Limtation Act allows 6 years from the date of the first refusal to grant the refund and hence the claim to the refund of the premium is not barred.
