But if the sale of the estate by the widow under such circumstances is held valid the widow by the sale of the estate will be able to discharge the liability then existing against the estate and at the same time save the surplus of the sale-proceeds which might be invested in the puchase of property or in some other way. [...] But to prohibit the sale of the property by the widow in all cases in which there exists only a partial meeessity for the consderation money might also result in depriving the reversionary heir of the whole of the immoveable property in i he hands of the widow.
