We may point out for the consideraticin of the Hon'ble Judges that the closing of the High Court several weeks before the closing of the District Civil Courts causes some amount of inconvenience and hardship to litigants and members of the legal profession both in Calcutta and in the Mofussil. [...] His ideas in social and religious matters were of the progressive order and for the prevetion of the abuse of the Hindu religious endoments he had worked hard and long ; the securing of their proper application to the service of the community by a moderate measure of legislation was the dream of his life. [...] THERE IS ALSO SOME MISAPPREHENSION IN Puumc mind regarding the presence of Lord Wolvehampton (formerly Sir Henry Fowler and once the Secretary of State for India) in the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council during the hearing of the reference in the matter of the alleged misconduct of the Chief Justice of Grenada. [...] THE PRESENT UNIVERSITY ADMINISTRATION NOably with reference to the fixing of the date of the preliminary examination for the degree of the Bachelor of Law has given rise to a considerable amount of dissatisfaction both amongst the students and their parents and guardians. L. examination as also the date for the deposit of fees for the same till the results of the November examination are published ?
