In 1879 when he was only 3o years of 4 ge and still a junior at the _Bar he was deputed to England to plead before the Bar of the British public the injustice of such measnres to the natives of India as the Civil Service Regulations Vernacular Press Act and the general policy - Lord Lytton the then Viceroy and GovernoGeneral of India. [...] Lamohan Ghose was again deputed to En;land to bring the matter before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council and also to make k iown the Indian grievances to the English people On the ftilfilment of his mission he returned hon e anhis services in the cause of the country met withz appropriate appreciation from all parts -of India. [...] In the course of his judgment the Master of the Rolls observed as follows :- In the present case there was no dispute about the facts and the only question was as to the iference to be drawn from those facts and in his Lordship's opinion the accident arose in the course of but not out of the employment. [...] The present suit was instituted by the sons of the Guru of the testator for the construction of the Will for a declaration that the direction for the establishment and consecration of the image of the Goddess Kali and her worship was void for possession of the Rangpur properties and for accounts and mesne profits. [...] The defence was that the case was entirely concocted and the accused were falsely implicated because the party of the accused had excommunicated Sarat Babu the maternal uncle of the complainant.
