563 by the Privy Council the decision in Alanga Monjori’s case demanded reconsideration The ratio decdendi in Alanga Monjori’s case was that the law had not been changed by the Hindu Wills Act and that in view of the fact that a bequest could not be made to an unborn person in Hindu Law the provisions of secs. [...] The little book before us is the first part of a work in the two other parts of which it is proposed to deal with the rules under the Indian Arms Act and the Indian Explosives Act. [...] The next question was Was the sustance of the transaction explained to the Defenant ? The jury found that it was as to the Z.roo note but as to the £400 note the jury said it was not but that she did know she was incurring a liability for the benefit of her husband.
