The High Court Original Side will be closed for the Annual Vacation (including Id-uz-zuha Mahalaya Durga Pujah Mohurrum and Lakshmi Pujah) on and from Monday the 3rd September to Tuesday the 13th November 1917 both days inclusive and also on Wednesday and Thursday the 14th and the 15th November 1917 on account of Kali Pujah and on Friday the 16th November 1917 on account of Karti [...] Such urgent Chamber applications as can be diposed of by the liegistrar or Master will be heard by the Master on the following specified days in September viz.:— Monday the 3rd Wednesday the 5th Friday the 7th Monday the 10th Wednesday the 12th and Friday the 14th after which urgent Chamber aplications will be taken by Special appointment only by the Master till the end of the Long V [...] Brown and Green a bicycle for which he " signs " thereby acknowledging his liability to pay the price of the machine on demand ; at the end of the current month and at the end of every month thereafter the customer is prsented by the tradesmen with their bill which however he fails to discharge ; and finally he is sued for the debt. [...] The case having arrived at the stage at which the plea of the accused had to be recorded the learned Chief Presdency Magistrate being of opinion that it was not open to him to get her plea though her pleader cancelled the order and directed that she should appear in Court and plead to the charge personally. [...] The Petitioner then moved the high Court (CHITTY and RICHARDSON J J ) Balm Manmatka Nath Mukerji for the Yeti-- tioner.—There is no law which makes it iperative for the Petitioner to personally appear and plead and in the unreported case of the :Rani of Bishnupur the High Court had dispened with her attendance in Court even in a case in which a warrant had been issued in the first instan
