[...] We publish below the words of wecome addressed to his Lordship by the respetive heads of the different sections of the legal profession and His Lordship's very appropriate reply :- The Advocate-General said: My Lord—Before the work of the Court begins may I be allowed on behalf of my brethren of the Bar and also on my own behalf to say a few words to your lordship on the position to which yo [...] to the satisfaction of the litigants and to the satisfaction of the public. [...] Nobody apparently noticed in the Appellate Court that the suit ought to have been tried as a small Cause Court suit and no objection to the form of the suit or to the copetency of the appeal was taken in the lower.
