In the course of the enquiry the Comission is to consult a Joint Committee of the Indian Legislature. [...] Harrison J. before whom the case came up dealt with the matter on the ground (which was not raised by the Petitioner) that It was impossible to allow the same Judge to be the complainant and the Court. [...] By his industry integrity patience and courtesy on the Bench he earned the confidence and the affection of the Bar and of the litigant public generally. [...] He served this country in a manner which endeared the genuine English gentleman to the people He gave of his beet to them not only on the Bench but in various social activities the advancement of learning in the prvince and the development of sports. [...] In a rent suit the Appellant Ahmeder Rahaman was the Defendant and the Repondent the Plaintiff and the Appellant in proof of his plea of payment filed two rent receipts which he alleged had been granted to him by the Respondent in full satisfation of the rent paid by him.
