The Code of Criminal Procedure it is the duty of the Judge in a trial by jury to decide all questions of law arising in the course of the trial and especially all questions as to the relevancy of facts which it is proposed to prove and the admissibility of evidence. [...] Illustration (b) is corroboration in material particulars and these particulars must be such as to connect or identify each of the accused with the offence." ...
