The Conservative the Libral and the Labour Party only differ as to the means and the methods best calculated in their respective opinion to promote emploment profitably to the country and its people. [...] The last election in England was a rather dull affair in spite of the fact that it was the first one held on the principle of universal suffrage.- That the Labour candidates were returned in the largest majority is quite natural. [...] As regards his selection of the AttorneGeneral from the rank of the Liberal Party the bemit of the attack has -fallen on Sir Alfred jowitt rather than on the Premier. [...] On the 12th of July last the full Court aaembled in the Court-room of the Hon'ble the Chief.Justice and after suitable rferences had been made on behalf of the several branches of the profession to the late Mr. [...] It is with gratitude and with pride that the judges recognise to-day that you with them will carry into the future a memory of their friend as a judge whose clarity of mind knowledge of the country and skill in the law have never fallen short of the highest standards.
