We are very glad to learn that the tension between the office and the Advocates on the Appellate Side over the printed Cause-List has at last been relieved through the intervention of the Hon’ble the Chief Justice. [...] 5. The profession would not agree while the office would not yield the result being that the majority of the Advocates ceased to subscribe the List. [...] If he had paid the money in response to a call by the official liquidator who was the " hand of the Court " he could not be expected to do more and could not be charged again sPecially in the absence of evidence that the money already paid had been misapplied. [...] 'Wallach for the Petitioner submitted that it was through a bond fide mistake on the part of the Petitioner's Advocate that the full amount of the security was not dposited within the proper time. [...] The Plaintiff applied for leave to appeal to the Privy Council: Held (PATKAR and MURPHY JJ.)—That the judgment decree or order from which the application for leave to appeal is made in the present case is not one made on apeal though it was made in its Appellate Jurisdiction in pursuance of the directions given by the Privy Council.
