D. N. Basu with the help of Sir Nripendra Nath Sircar and Sir Stanley Jackson the late Governor' of Bengal that the grievances of the Indian teams were removed and the old harmony accord and good-will were restored in the playing fields to the delight of all and sundry to whom the games of the Calcutta Maidan furnish a rare enjoment and recreation. [...] The book deals chiefly with all practical points of the law of accidents and as such it will prove indispensable to the Bench the legal profession and to businessmen. [...] The Plaintiff entered into a written cotract with the Defendants for the sale of certain goods and the Defendants' agent who was ignorant of the language in which it was written on being. [...] told that the writing contained all the terms signed it; but the Defendants' case was that as a matter of fact the writing did not contain all the terms of the contract: Held (BEAUMONT C. J. and RANGNEKAR J.)—That it is clear on a true construction of sec. [...] The burden of proving that the writing does not contain the whole of the agreement would of course be on the party setting up that plea.
