In the very lucid judgment delivered by Lord Macmillan in the above case there is it appears to us a slight inaccuracy in the statement of the decision of the High Court on one of the items. [...] the history of which is most intricate due to the growth and evolution of many kinds of estates since the time of the Permanent Settlement of 1793 and that commissions requiring the relay of old revenue surveys should be issued invariably to pleaders who have undergone the course of training and passed the examination of the Pleaders' Survey Examination As we do not possess any intimate knoledg [...] As to the distribution of commissions a correspondent disapproves of our suggetion that the appointment of commissioners should be the concern of the trial Court istead of the District Judge as at present. [...] His argument is that Munsiffs too are busy men and under the suggested change as well the privilege of distribution will pass into the hands of their sheristadars; and in accordance with the ordinary human preference for bigger things the corespondent prefers the administration of a higher rank of sheristadars. [...] any presumption as to possession of the whole seam when the exercise of possession has been on the basis of a right to the whole possession of the whole is established.
