But on this day not to speak of the chairs every inch of standing room in the well of the Court was occupied by members of the prfession while in the outer portion of the vast room beyond the railingp thronged the late-corners standing both on the floor and on the benches. [...] From the Bar table up to the farthest end of the room it was one vast expanse of billowy black relieved by the brown of the faces and the glint of the glasses. [...] The next point was the harmlessness of the passage on the merits and it was on this part of the case that the argument was expected to provide the greatest liveliness and because of its delicate and dangerous character to call forth all the dexterity that Counsel possesed. [...] In accordance with the opinion of the majrity the Court ordered the editor to b dtained in simple imprisonment for three months and the printer for the period of a month. [...] It was found that the Plaintiff agreed to sell the prperties mortgaged to the Defendant for a consideration equal to the mortgage amount and a further sum of money.'
