Formerly between the delivery of the PapeBook and the date of hearing a reasonable interval was allowed to the lawyers of the accused to prepare the case. [...] After the papers which are to be included in the Paper-Book have been picked out copies are :made in typescript for the use of the press and one copy of the type-written Papebook so prepared is served on the Advcate for the accused. [...] Whether the widow is any the better for this decree or the nephew any the worse we do not know—but the potency or other wise of the decree does not take away from the merit of the Board's action. [...] There is however a special ground provided for in the Act which is " abuse by the Board of its powers." The incorporation of that unusual ground in the statute suggests that the Legislature was not altogether insensible that performances like the present one might take place but juding by the reasons which are sometimes given for the exclusion of various quasCourts from the jurisdiction [...] Before the decree coulbc executed a son of one of the mortgagors instituted a suit impugning the validity of the mortgage deed and the decrees passed on foot thereof on the usual ground that the debt evidenced by the mortgage deed had not been contraced for a purpose which justified the aliention of joint family property.
