Our statment of the learned Registrar’s views was as follows He takes the view that it is the duty of the party obtaining a certified copy to satisfy himself that the copy is correct : it is no part of the duty of the Regitrar or the High Court Office to secure for a party correction of mistakes occurring in a copy filed by him. [...] Nor can he being himself unsure as to whther the mistake is in the original or in the copy utilise the machinery of the High Court for the purpose of an enquiry on his behalf as to what the real position is. [...] In order to succeed on the plea of estoppel on the ground of Plaintiff's negligence the Dfendant must establish that there was a duty on the part of the Plaintiff and his agent to use due care towards the party or towards the ireneral public of which he is one. [...] The Bombay Municipality who were the employers are in charge of the water suply for Bombay and in order to test the efficiency of the system it becomes necesary for them at times to ascertain the dgree of pressure in the water mains. [...] (x) of the second schedule to the Act and what operations were embraced in the expression " working a pipe-line." That expression covers all work necessary in the view of the employer for the efficient working of the pipe-line.
