The shortness of the judgments has etailed the consequence that the number of those included in the volume is too large to admit of any exhaustive summarisation. [...] The decisions on the B. A. D. Act were a series of denials of jurisdiction it being held for example that the High Court had no power to enquire where the application before the Board was by a proper person or properly made or whether the Board had jurisdiction or whther the Appellate Officer did rightly decide the question before him. [...] Under the Cacutta Municipal Act the most striking deci-i sion was one in which the rights of the Coporation in respect of areas defined from time to time under the Fort William Act as against the area actually enclosed within the fortifications were determined and the British Military Hospital in Lower. [...] position one by the Judicial Committee holding that after the assumption of control by the Court of Wards the proprietors could be sued only through the Manager and aother by the High. [...] On the Government of Idia Act of 1919 there was a single decision discussing the rights of the Crown to dimiss a servant and the remedy open to the latter but the decisions on Hindu law were many and various.
