The form of the recommendations rather suggests that the primary object is not amelioration of the condition of the tenant or re-organisation of agriculture on a sounder system of land tenure but increase of the income of the State. [...] A legatee to whom letters of administrtion with a copy of the will annexed have been granted is entitled to institute a suit for recovery of possession of the estate which has passed out of the Possession of the executor as a result of a transaction enteed into with the Defendant by the executor in his character as the residuary legatee bfore he renounced the executorship without taking o [...] Where a legatee under a Will mortgages immovable property left to him by the testtor before obtaining the assent of the excutor to the legacy the property could form the subject-matter of a valid mortgage and the mortgagee is entitled to cut off the equity of redemption. [...] Where a decree is adjusted before exection by means of a compromise and one of the parties to the litigation is a minor the consent of the Court is necessary if the minor is to be bound by the compromise. [...] If for the protection of the minor it is essential to obtain the permission of the Court for a compromise during the pendency of the suit and during the pendency of the execution proceedings it is just as essential in the iterests of the minor that the Court's consent should be taken during the period between the passing of the decree and the execution proceedings.
