No exception can be taken to the original form in English which though somewhat severely expressed and lacking in the ceremonious phraseology of the notices going out from the Original Side does not offend against the ordinary rules of courtesy. [...] The form in use in the High Court is not only extremely offensive to the parties addressed but it is altogether unbecoming of the great Court on behalf of which it is issued to send out a notice of this character. [...] The deficiencies of the notice such as they are are obviously due to the literary deficiency of the person who excuted the translation and also to his lack of the sense of propriety. [...] But the ordinary lawyer of to-day is not much concerned about the scheme of a piece of legislation or the key to its meaning. [...] The decree-holder need not wait for a reasoable period and see whether the money is paid to the creditors of the vendor or not.
