The object with which the List is published is to give notice to the Advocates of the cases which are to come on during the month so that they may have time to pi epare themselves and obtain instructions. [...] The effect of this practice is that the inscription on the cover of the Monthly List that it is the List for a particular month is reduced to a mere legend.
