as the Supreme Commander of the S. E. A. C. during the War has engedered hopes in the minds of a large number of Indians that respect for law and order will once again be restored in this country and the promised transfer of power by Britain to India will take place in an atmophere of peace and tranquillity. [...] The agents of the British Tories have entered into an unholy alliance with the hooligan elements who constitute the scum of society in India with a view to bringing about chaotic conditions in the country and thereby making out a case for the prolongation of the British Imperial stranglehold on her. [...] The carnage perpetuated and the dvastation caused by frenzied mobs under the supervision of communal leaders and under the' secret guidance of the agents of British Tories may have given them a feeing of satisfaction and triumph for the time being but they should realise that it is their Satanic mentality which is causing a rapid disintegration of the British Empire. [...] To retain the Award on the Statute Book and to ask the Indian political parties at the same time to unite is to ask them to do the impossible. [...] 110 of the Civil Procedure Code means the decision of the lower Court as a whole; if the decsion is varied even though slightly or even in favour of the applicant there is no affirmance of the lower Court's decision and the applicant is entitled to get leave to apeal as of right if the valuation justifies it.
