At the time when our internationalist Prime Minister referred the case of Indonesia to the U. N. 0. the Nationalists in India regretfully thought that the Goernment of India should have placed the case of India before the U. N. 0. earlier than it had placed that of Indonesia inamuch as the case of India was far graver and far more urgent and it should therfore have had precedence in t [...] After enough blood had been spilt on the Ravi and the Hooghly the agonised population both in the Punjab and in Bengal started under the auspices of the Congress an agitation for the parttion of the Provinces. [...] " 8. (1) Any contract made on behalf of the Governor-General in Council before the appbined day as from that day; (a) if the contract is for purposes which as from that day are exclusively purposes of the Dominion of Pakistan be deemed to have made on behalf of the Dominion of instead of the Governor-General in Council; and. [...] (b) in any other ease be deemed to have been made on behalf of the Dominion of In' stead of the Governor-General in Connell; and all rights and liabilities which have tVe-' trued or may accrue under any such eptraet shall to the extent to which they *mid jiave been rights or liabilities of the Governor-General in Council rights and liabilities of the Domigion of Pakistan or the Dotninion of "1-m [...] The Indian Contract Act alone affords very inadequate view of the law relating to contract and the merits of the publication will largely depend upon the mode of presentation of the subject and clear analysis of the different stages of the development of the law both by the legilature and the judiciary.
