The Government of India denied today the Press statement made by Mr V. R. Bangeri in Madras that he had been commissioned by the Registrar of the Privy Council under instructions from the Lord Chacellor to explore the possibilities of disposing of pending Privy Council appeals without any inconvenience to the parties in India. [...] Let him be a good citizen of Pakistan just as the Muslim who is here must be a good citizen of the Indian Union--and then in the fulness of time present distempers will be.a thing of the past and Hindus and Muslims will shed for ever the feeling of Eking in separate compartments. [...] He was a zealous guardian of prfessional propriety and it may truly be said of him that he lent tone and dignity to our bar in accord with the highest traditions of the profession " I first remember having seen him when I was a student in the Intermediate class of the Muir Central College when young Tej Bahadur Sapru used to come to see my father who was then practising in the Court and was als [...] He was a great admirer of the noble traditions of the Bench and the Bain England and was anxious to mould the Bench and the Bar in this country on those lines. [...]. The fact that he was a member of the Bar of this Court raised tot only the stature of our Bar but also raised the prestige of this Court.
