In the context of the international situation to-day there might be difference of view regarding the pronouncement of the Association of Democratic Lawyers. [...] " Nowhere else " he says " are people so proud and conscious of their human rights and prergatives'as in the U. S. S. R. and for the good reason that the Soviet Revolution brought to the oppressed men and women of not only Russia but the colonial empire of the Czars the healing breath of freedom. [...] They believe that in this best of all possible worlds freedom of the exploited can only be established by strictly curtailing the freedom of the exploiters that the liberty of the colonial and subject peoples can be won only by denying liberty to the iperialists. [...] The learned Judge amened the decree being of opinion that reading the judgment as a whole it amounted to a finding in favour of the title of the Plaitiff to the land edged green. [...] The Judicial Committee agreed with the conclusions reached but not the reasons and the occasion necessitated a re-statement of the general rule that once an order is pased and entered or otherwise perfected in accordance with the practice of the Court the Court which passed the order is functus officio and cannot set aside or alter the oder however wrong it may be.
