Now that the Judicial Reforms Comittee is holding its deliberations and the future of the Original Side of Chartered High Courts and of the so-called Dual System which has inevitably been one of its concomitant features is being examined it is important that we as a journal with a record of more than half a century’s service to the profession as well as we hope to the wider public beyond i [...] That the Dual System uder which solicitors prepare briefs or inteview clients and take charge of the prelminaries of an action mhile advocates apear and plead in Court on the basis of instructions received makes for the maxmum possible efficiency and in the final analysis economy in the dispensation of justice particularly in the kind of cases that come up on the Original Sid [...] 21 r. 95 of the Code of Civil Procedure the Court can order rmoval of huts standing on the land when the auction-purchaser praying for delivery of possession had purchased the land but not the huts.
