Members of the profession welcomed the Chief Justice who could males: time in the midst of three busy days to interview personally some member& of the Bar. [...] Now that the All Idia Bar Committee is going through the entire question this aspect of the matter might find some discussion in the Report of the Committee. [...] Where a party to a suit filed before the Constitution came into force had aquired a right of appeal to the Privy Council and then to the Federal Court (after the passing of the Enlargement of Jurisdiction of the Federal Court Act I of 1948) by virtue of sec. [...] Accordingly after the Constitution came into force such a litigant would have a right of appeal to the Supreme Court set up udethe Constitution and the latter Court would have jurisdiction over the matter by virtue of Att. [...] It is however desirable that no abso lute bar 'maybe imposed by such and the matter should be left to the discretion of the tribunal or the authpp.
