IN THE ABOVE CONNEXION THE RECENT DECISION of the English Court of Appeal in the Borroughs Wellcome's case upholding the decision of the late Mr. [...] Clearly however the word must be descriptive of the article at the time of the invention and the appropriation to be bad and in the case in question there does not seem to have been any evidence that the word " Tabloid " had any signification whatever in 1884 the year when it began to be used. [...] 324 of Acts VIII of 1859 to set aside an award on the ground of misconduct of one of the arbitrators and of the umpire it has been held that the words of the section being in their ordinary import obligatory and there being nothing in the other pots of the Code to show that such construction was at variance with the intention of the Legislature and a similar provision having been held by the Cou [...] P. C. applied and that the Judge presiding at the Criminal Sessions of the High Court had power in his discretion to accept the commitment and to proceed with the trial of the prisoner. [...] 195 nor can it refer to a case in which the want of sanction was directly brought to the notice of the Magistrate at the commencement of the proceedings.
