Sir Simon Le Blanc Knight one of the Judge's of his Majesty's Court of King's Bench and upon the jurors by whom certain persons accused of murder had been acqui ted." Grose J. in his charge to the jury referred to the libel as consising in this :—" That the laws and tribunals of the land are represented as having by the conduct of the Judge and jury in the administration of the laws receiv [...] in the evidence on the trial but wholesale abuse of the adminitration of the justice of the country." Further to his Lordship said : " If you should be of opinion that the publication has been proved and that it is libellous you will then have to detemine that which is the great question in the case viz. [...] R. v. Gray no doubt suggests that scandalising the Court includes lowering the authority of a7udge of the Court but a careful examination of the case shows that the Court in that case also was confron ed with a libel on the administration of Justice for the accused Gray had by affidavit admitted that his conduct reflected not only upon the individual Judge but upon the Bench of Judges and the ad [...] The Court of first instance set aside the award Held—It would be bad law and injustice if under the circumstances of the case and having regard to the language of the reference defining the umpire's juridiction the Court were to hold that the award was void and the enquiry before the umpire was all infructuous. [...] In 1893 or 1894 the of two of them even though the will should prove iAgent and his family asserted that they and not the valid so far as it purported to affect the devolution of Defendant's family were the owners of the land add the property.
